Expo Turismo Rural y Aventura

El Estado de Puebla destaca en México y en el mundo por su cultura y su biodiversidad; la zona rural distribuida a lo largo de las 32 regiones, es guardiana de bosques, ríos, lagunas, sierras, volcanes y caminos que conducen destinos turísticos y atractivos naturales. El Estado de Puebla con 5 áreas naturales protegidas federales y 5 estatales que abarcan más de 60 municipios; tiene 57 municipios considerados indígenas y 18 con presencia indígena, esto se traduce en una compleja y extensa variedad de manifestaciones culturales que tiene que ver directamente con el territorio y con la flora y fauna que en el habitan.

La Secretaría de Turismo del Gobierno de Puebla promueve destinos que ofrecen experiencias turísticas bajo los principios de solidaridad y respeto de las identidades culturales y del medio ambiente. Con el propósito de promocionar los destinos y servicios relacionados con el turismo de naturaleza, el turismo rural y de aventura, se realizará por tercera ocasión un evento que reúne más de 60 emprendimientos turísticos como parques ecoturísticos, haciendas, touroperadoras, guías de naturaleza, cafetaleros, artesanos de piedra, textil, palma, mezcaleros, hoteles, cabañas, glampings, restaurantes, cafeterías y cocineras tradicionales.

This waterfall will amaze you with its landscape. Here, you will not only have the opportunity to swim, but also get to know its flora and fauna. Its climate, representative from to Sierra Norte, is another delightful characteristic.

Cascada del Salto CASCADA DEL SALTO WATERFALL

Walk and enjoy this waterfall surrounded by rocky areas, where there are activities such as rappelling, swimming, and zip lines. All areas are ready to spend quality time with your family, friends, or couple.

Cascada Corazón del Bosque

In this fascinating waterfall, visitors can admire different perspectives due to the large trails formed by its cascades.

- Tetela de Ocampo -
Cascadas Aconco

Admire the waterfalls after a walk, one is 45 meters (147 feet) high and the other one is 95 meters (311 feet) high. The fall of both forms two pools of up to a meter and a half deep where you can swim. On the banks, the water reaches 60 centimeters deep, so children can enjoy this area under the supervision of an adult.

Cascada de Puxtla

The Puxtla waterfall represents a sublime place for nature and challenge lovers. The place has different routes to arrive at the waterfall, also known as ‘La del Siete (the seven)’. Characteristics as its 80-meter (262-feet) fall and rear cave make Puxtla an unforgettable attraction.

Cascada de Tenexate

In this 65-meter (213-feet) high waterfall, you can do activities such as hiking, rappelling, and swimming. The area offers a great variety of flora and fauna, as well as high-quality coffee.

- Zacatlán -
Cascadas Tuliman

Enjoy these waterfalls located among quiet and picturesque forests with steep roads and trails. This park has several attractions but the main ones are the falls which are 250 meters (850 feet) high and 300 meters (984 feet) high formed by the waterfalls.

- Xicotepec -
Barbas de Carranza

Walk along Barbas de Carranza and see its impressive fall surrounded by jungle vegetation. This place is ideal to spend time with family and friends.
